Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has had a good opening weekend across the globe. The film registered the second biggest opening weekend of the year, behind Marvel's own Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ($187 million).
Black Panther hit $180 million in its first weekend at the domestic box office, while the overseas haul minted $30 million less than that. The film enjoyed good footfalls all around the globe, scoring a $330 million weekend at the worldwide box office.
The latest story of Wakanda has broken the previous record of the biggest November opening held by Hunger Games: Catching Fire (158 million) for 8 years. Wakanda Forever has also gained rank 1 title at the Indian box office on the weekend, with collections above Rs. 40 crore nett 47 crore gross.
