BMCM, MaidaanBMCM (Bade Miyan Chote Miyan) and Maidaan have both seen a disastrous response at the box office. The numbers were low on the Eid holiday and weekend, but then the Monday drop and Tuesday numbers confirmed the disaster verdict even more clearly. publive-imageBMCM has a budget of over 300 crores, and the box office figures in India will end somewhere around 60 crore. The overseas numbers will be 35 crore or more, making it 110 crore gross or plus at the worldwide box office. The non-theatrical income would be in the range of 80-100 crore, depending on how much the film gets from an OTT brand. All in all, it will be losing 100-120 crore, making it one of the biggest losses for a Bollywood movie.publive-imageOn the other hand, Maidaan too has a high budget of around 200 crore. The box office numbers for this sports drama are going to be lower than BMCM, which will make it lose 100 crore for producers. The film will be looking to finish its theatrical run at 35-40 crore in the best case, while overseas number may not even cross 30 crore gross. The worldwide numbers for this one will be lower than 100 crore, confirming a 90-100 crore loss for the makers. A lot depends on its non-theatrical revenue, but it's easy to predict that they won't be more than 100 crore.
