The film collected approx. 1.25 crore nett on day one, which many big films have failed to do in current times. The 1920 franchise has always been a dark horse at the box office, so it will be interesting to see if this one also emerges as a sleeper success or not.
On the other hand, Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, is a dead horse at the box office. The film lost the battle for success on Monday when it crashed at the box office. Now, it will struggle for a 140 crore total in a lifetime run, which should have been a weekend total for a big-budget film like this.
