There have been reports about this film coming on OTT, but no. The makers are confident about the project and are bringing the film into cinemas in the first quarter of 2025. The official release date for the film is announced today.

This courtroom drama, based on C. Sankaran Nair's unknown tale of a legal battle against the British Empire, is now scheduled to be released in cinemas on March 14, 2024. The untitled film is based on the shocking cover-up of a massacre that pushed India's top barrister, C. Sankaran Nair, to fight an unprecedented battle against the British Empire.

The film is based on real-life events and has been adapted from the book "The Case that Shook the Empire," written by Raghu Palal and Pushpa Palat. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will star in the lead role of Barrister C. Shankaran Nair.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta's Dharma Productions, Akshay Kumar's Home production Cape of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective. The film will be released in cinemas on March 14, 2024.
