During an interview with ANI, the Dream Girl actor said that the story of Yash Raj Films' Chak De India was based on the life of a Hindu man, who was the coach of Team India. However, the film sees Shah Rukh Khan playing a Muslim guy, accused of cheating with the national team and then boycotted by Hindu neighbors.
