James Cameron is set to make his Avatar franchise bigger with Avatar 3. The director has already planned multiple sequels, and the ideas are ready on paper. After the success of Avatar and Avatar 2, Cameron will introduce a new theme in Avatar 3.
Avatar was about Padora's jungles, while Avatar: The Way of Water took us to the eastern SeaWorld. Now, Avatar 3 will introduce a new Na'vi group, and it will be the battle of Fire vs. Water. Producer Jon Landau confirmed it in a recent interview and also made it official that Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter Oona Chaplin will be playing the leader of this new group.
"There are good humans and there are bad humans. It’s the same thing on the Na’vi side. Oftentimes, people don’t see themselves as bad. What is the root cause of how they evolve into what we perceive as bad? Maybe there are other factors there that we aren’t aware of." Jon Landau told Empire Magazine.
