publive-imageChristopher Nolan's Oppenheimer is set for a July release, but the media and industry people present at CinemaCon 2023 got the chance to enjoy the preview before normal audiences. Nolan, who was present on the stage, called J. Rovert Oppenheimer the most important person who ever lived.

"Picture the finest minds in the country in a desperate race with the Nazis to harness the power of the atom. Like it or not, J. Robert Oppenheimer is the most important person who ever lived. He made the world we live in, for better or for worse. His story has to be seen to be believed," said the filmmaker.

The response to this early screening of extended footage has been tremendously positive. Critics are hailing Oppenheimer as an intense, intriguing, and thrilling experience on social media, with special mentions to the background score, cinematography, and Nolan's direction. The new trailer will drop in two weeks with Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in cinemas.
