Chup Teaser : R. Balki's Psychological Thriller Starring Dulquer Salmaan & Sunny Deol Pays Homage To Guru Dutt On His Birth Anniversary

In November 2021, R. Balki announced the wrap of Chup: Revenge of The Artist, on Guru Dutt's death anniversary. Today, on Guru Dutt's birth anniversary, the filmmaker has unveiled the teaser featuring Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Deol and Shreya Dhanwanthary. Watch it here:

R. Balki's Chup Teaser pays homage to maverick filmmaker and actor Guru Dutt. From what we gather, Dulquer seems obsessed with Guru Dutt and his film in this short teaser. He presents Kaagaz Ke Phool to Shreya Dhanwanthary on the occasion of Guru Dutt's birthday.The more intriguing part is when the lady reminds him that Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959) was criticised in the past. Dulquer shouts at her: CHUP. The psychological thriller will be R. Balki's tribute to the legendary Guru Dutt.The film is written and directed by R. Balki and is based on the story he started working on a few years ago. The screenplay and dialogues have been co-written by R. Balki, critic-turned-writer Raja Sen and Rishi Virmani. Chup is produced by Gauri Shinde, Hope Filmmakers and Pen Studios. The film will feature an ensemble cast of Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Deol, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja Bhatt.
