Rohit Shetty's comedy-drama Cirkus marks the last Bollywood biggie of the year. It turned out to be the last disappointment, too. Cirkus failed to pull audiences to the theatres on the first day and had a very low occupancy throughout the day.The film opened to 10% occupancy in the morning and then saw a slight jump in the afternoon and evening shows. But it couldn't make up because the battle was already lost. Cirkus has done approximately 6 crore nett business on day 1, which is really poor for the standards of Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh.Cirkus has failed to make it into the top 15 biggest openers of the year as it couldn't surpass Heropanti 2 - 6.17 crore nett. Also, this doesn't stand among the top 10 openers by Ranveer Singh. However, Cirkus makes it to the top 10 openers of Rohit Shetty, grabbing the 10th spot.
