Superstar Vijay, aka Thalapathy Vijay, has landed in legal trouble for his upcoming movie, "Leo". As per a report in Track Tollywood, RTI Selvam, an activist from Chennai, filed a complaint against Vijay for promoting drugs and demanded legal action under the Narcotics Act.
The written complaint explains, "A song from the upcoming movie Leo starring actor Vijay has been released recently and is being shared a lot on social media. The song’s lyrics, which begin with 'A padhatu patil na udika and ready to harvest pokhayala' are advocating drug addiction”.
It further reads, "It is unacceptable that actor Vijay is supporting drugs among the youth through the lyrics of this song. Therefore, for the crime of inciting the youth to use drugs, the actor Vijay and the people who wrote the song should be booked under the Narcotics Control Act, and action should be taken".
