Crew, starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, took off on a good note on the first day. The numbers are boosted by the holiday of Good Friday, but still, it's a very good total for a film led by female actors.

Crew opened well in multiplexes, while mass centres are seeing low responses where Shaitaan is still having a great hold. The heist comedy was never meant to do well in CI and such parts, but the Urban centres are providing solid numbers anyway.Rajesh Krishnan's comedy flick collected 9.4 crore nett approx on Friday. If the night shows can push this number a little further, then it can achieve a double-digit figure on day one, which will be a huge feat.The previous record for the highest opening day for such sort of a female-led film belongs to Veere Di Wedding (2018), which opened at 10.80 crore nett. Guess what? Kareena Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor's trio was part of that film too.
