Deadpool and Wolverine Nears $550 Million (Rs. 4600 crore) in 5 Days

Deadpool and Wolverine is seeing a good hold on weekdays in the domestic and overseas markets. The film surpassed the $500 million mark in 5 days and almost went near crossing the $550 million mark as well.

Deadpool and Wolverine added $25.3 million on Tuesday at the North American box office, which was a 3% improvement from Monday ($24.4 million). The film stands at $261 million+ in 5 days in the domestic market.

The much-hyped superhero crossover saga has done well overseas, with a total of $284 million in 5 days. The worldwide haul is huge, with $545 million (Rs. 4560 crore gross). The film is expected to gross over $1 billion by the next week.

In India, the film is close to hitting the Rs. 100 crore gross mark, which is a good total. The weekday drop is bigger than expected, but the job was done during the opening weekend itself.
