Deadpool and Wolverine Scores an Excellent Opening Day in India; 6th Biggest Ever

Deadpool and Wolverine has opened on an excellent note at the Indian box office. The films grossed approx. 21 crore nett (25 crore gross) on the first day, which is the highest opening total for any Hollywood film in 2024 and the sixth biggest opening day total ever.

The 21 crore figure is too good considering that Deadpool and Wolverine is an A-rated film and many Marvel fans are below 18.

Deadpool & Wolverine are doing well in the north  and south markets, while Mumbai has contributed a huge chunk as always. The film collected almost 4 crore nett from Delhi, which is very surprising.
