Dharma Productions announced the re-release with a new poster on their social media handles today.

Kal Ho Naa Ho was the directorial debut of Nikkhil Advani. The story was written by Karan Johar, dialogue by Niranjan Iyengar, and it was produced by Yash Johar. The star-studded drama brought an ensemble cast together with Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta, with Sushma Seth, Reema Lagoo, Lillete Dubey, Delnaaz Irani, and others.

Kal Ho Naa Ho is considered one of the finest films of Dharma. Many often call it one of the finest performances by Shah Rukh Khan and finest music albums by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. KHNH was a box office HIT in the original release, with domestic growth of 58 crore and worldwide gross of 86 crore. The film was a huge hit overseas, with a gross of $6.1 million across all territories.
The film is about Naina (Preity Zinta), a not-so-happy girl who falls in love with a happy-go-lucky guy, Aman Mathur (Shah Rukh Khan). But due to unavoidable circumstances, Aman has to set her up with her best friend, Rohit (Saif Ali Khan).
