'Die-Hard' Action Hero Bruce Willis Is Stepping Away From Acting After Being Diagnosed With Aphasia

publive-imageThe name Bruce Willis needs no introduction. He started his career with the comedy series Moonlighting (1985–1989) and has since appeared in over a hundred films, gaining widespread recognition as an action hero after his portrayal of John McClane in the Die Hard franchise.

The actor has gained recognition as one of the most loved action heroes in Hollywood. After appearing in popular films like Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, Armageddon, The Sixth Sense, Sin City, The Expendables and many others, the action star has decided to retire from the film industry due to health issues.

The family members of Bruce Willis released a statement on social media. Read it below.

"To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him."
