The controversies around Deepika Padukone's saffron clothes in the Besharam Rang song from Pathaan are getting chaotic. Yesterday, the home minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Narottam Mishra, hinted that they might ban the film's release in the state. Now, actor-politician Prakash Raj has come forward to break his silence on the same issue.

Prakash Raj had openly come out in support of Deepika Padukone over the saffron bikini row. He tweeted the news of Narottam Mishra's comment and wrote, "Disgusting. How long should we tolerate these? Colour Blind #AndhBhakts #justasking.."
Earlier, Narottam Mishra had said, "Deepika Padukone's costumes are highly objectionable, and the song has been shot with a dirty mindset in Pathaan. The scenes and costumes of the songs should be corrected; otherwise, whether the film should be allowed in Madhya Pradesh or not, it will be a matter of consideration."
