Dream Girl collected approx. 4.90-5 crore on Monday, which is a 70% drop from Sunday's figures of 15.50 crore. The drop is big, but it was expected since the film did not appeal to the masses much and the ticket prices in multiplexes come down on weekdays. But the drop is considerably high if we look at Friday's numbers—10 crore.
Dream Girl 2 has emerged as a success, which means it's not a flop at all. But can it emerge as a HIT with the help of the Raksha Bandhan holiday coming on Wednesday? That remains to be seen. It seems that the film will cover the lost ground on Raksha Bandhan and will have a decent first week total in the range of 55–60 crore nett.
