Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, entered the DC universe of superheroes with Black Adam, but the response wasn't worthy enough. The film is set to make losses for the producers, staying far away from its break-even point in terms of box office economics.
Black Adam has a budget of $195-200 million, and Warner Bros. spent approximately $80-100 million on the global marketing campaign. The film has generated a worldwide gross of $385 million and will soon end its theatrical run around a $400 million global total. This is far short of its break-even point of $600 million, leaving the makers to lose a minimum of $50 million and a maximum of $100 million at the box office, as reported by Variety.
