One of the busiest actresses of the time, Yami Gautam, is back with another movie, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga. This Ajay Singh directorial also stars Sunny Kaushal and Sharad Kelkar. Taunted to be a heist-hijack-slash-thriller, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is set to be released on Netflix on March 24, 2023. But before the release, here's what Yami has to say about the project.Starting off with the content of this exciting thriller, Yami Gautam shared with Movie Talkies, "Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is your popcorn entertainer. I have seen the film, and I enjoyed it. If I didn't enjoy watching my own film, I'll tell you honestly. But sometimes it works for others. And I really enjoyed watching Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga."When asked to differentiate theatrical and OTT releases, Yami told us, "For me, giving a perfect film is more important. I have had OTT successes and heard people saying that if it's a Yami's film, there must be something. For me, the audience's verdict matters the most. It's (theatrical release) not in my hands. I am doing my job as an actor; I am giving you a good performance. To get a film with a certain director and get the theatrical release is not in my hands. I mean, I have done it in the past, so now, I have stopped thinking like that. A good film will find its audience."Yami has done a couple of female-oriented films recently. Does Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga have more surprises, as the trailer didn't reveal much? Yami answered, "Very soon this term of female-centric films will get away. I understand why it was coined because, at one point in time, there were very few films made like this. A film like Mother India was made in that era (1950s). More than female-driven films, I consider them character-driven films. I'll never ask you to watch my film, which has me as the lead, because it's a female-led film. It needs to be a good script. The trailer didn't reveal much, but I guarantee you there is a lot in the film."The title, "Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga," has a nostalgic feel, and we all agree. Commenting on the title, Yami said, "It is so Amar Kaushik. It's like an ode to the kind of films he is associated with. Amar is so funny. He is a hardcore movie lover. He likes watching the film with the audience and enjoying it. He is also there in this film. For me, the title is Ode to Amar."
