publive-imageIshaan Khatter is damn excited about his return to the big screen with the upcoming horror comedy, Phone Bhoot. The actor will be seen sharing the screen with Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the film. The film is set to release in cinemas on 4th November, but before that, we caught Ishaan in an exclusive interaction. Here's what he had to say about the film.publive-imageBollywood is seeing a change in the horror genre. Previously, it was the Ramsay Brothers' films; now, it's a horror comedy. Ishaan shared his own views about it by saying, "As an audience, I would love to watch horror films, and as an actor, I would love to be a part of horror films. The horror genre has a very strong impact on the audience if it's done right. It becomes memorable. It moves you somewhere or the other."publive-imageTalking about horror genre films Bollywood has been making over the years, Ishaan said, "Usually we watch horror films that have jump scares. It releases all the fear and then you feel like laughing. So it is also an entertaining experience. The best horror films are those that don't give you jump scares and you can't forget them. You can go home, but you can't wash your face. So I would love to see more horror films. I also think I have a beautiful dark side in me, so I would love to explore this genre as an actor and as a film person."publive-image"The characters in Phone Bhoot, Major and Gullu, are huge Ramsay Brothers fans. They are obsessed with Ramsay's horror films and they are fans of pulpy horror genre films. They are so obsessed with the films that they are a nuisance to the ghosts. It's a very interesting film that way. For 90s kids, you'll find a lot of pop culture references in the movie," he informed us.
