Superstar Mithun Chakraborty's son, Namashi Chakraborty, is set for his big screen debut with Bad Boy. The film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and stars Amrin Qureshi as the leading lady. Before the film hits the cinemas on April 28, 2023, Namashi spoke to us in a candid interaction.Rajkumar Santoshi has directed many iconic films; will we see any references here? The Bad Boy told Movie Talkies, "I think Rajkumar Santoshi's typical masala entertainer is back (with Bad Boy). It's like Andaz Apna Apna meets Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. This genre has been best explored by Raj ji (Santoshi) and David Sir (Dhawan). I would say this is Raj Ji's tribute to the cinema of Hrishikesh Mukherjee."When asked about the perfect vehicle to be launched in the industry, Namashi went on to say, "To be frank, I did not have a choice. This man, Rajkumar Santoshi, picked me up and gave me the chance. If it had been anyone else, I would have jumped on it, but I'm glad that it was Raj ji. For the newcomers, I'd say just work. So many actors you see today started in small roles. So it's all about work."
