Actress Amrin Qureshi will make her big screen debut opposite Namashi Chakraborty in the upcoming flick Bad Boy. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film will be released on April 28, 2023. During a recent media conversation, Amrin opened up about a few details of her character and the film. Read the excerpts below:Talking about Rajkumar Santoshi's iconic films and what references we will see in Bad Boy, Amrin shared, "I have seen many iconic movies of Rajkumar Santoshi, sir. Andaz Apna Apna, Ghayal, Damini, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, and also the latest ones—I have seen them all. I don't think my character has anything similar to Santoshi Ji's previous film heroines. My character is fresh and new. It's like a slow poison. It grows on you after a while, not immediately."Sharing her experience of working with Rajkumar Santoshi, Amrin told Movie Talkies, "Me and Namashi were new, so we kind of got along well. We were both learning so much from Santoshi Sir since he has so much experience in films and filmmaking. When you have someone of his stature, it becomes easy for you as an actor because he can make things the way he wants them. He knows what will be best for you. Working with Santoshi ji for 1 movie is like getting an experience of 2 movies for me".
