Multi talented siblings Farhan & Zoya Akhtar have started everyone's morning on a very heartwarming note by reuniting with their mother Honey Irani. Farhan Akhtar took to his Instagram handle, shared a family picture of him and his sister with their mother Honey Irani. The Akhtar siblings are all smiles with mother Honey Irani in their recreated picture from childhood.

In the picture, we get to see the Akhtar siblings and their mother in their most desi yet sophisticated avatar. Farhan Akhtar has kept it simple and is clad in a navy blue Kurta paired with white Salwar. Whereas the mother and daughter are glistening with joy in gold bordered Sarees complemented with maroon and creme colour.
Even though decades have passed on, the actors still have the innocent glee on their face. After all, spending time with your mother always makes you feel optimistic and secure. Talking about Farhan and Zoya Akhtar's bright career as directors and screenwriters, it definitely runs in the genes as their parents Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani hailed in the Industry as successful screenwriters.
It's a less known fact that Honey Irani started her career as a child artist and made her name in the Industry as a successful screenwriter who was way ahead of her time with her remarkable abilities of creating well planned blueprints out of socially relevant subjects. Honey Irani has been a screenwriter for films Lamhe, Kya Kehna and Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. The screenwriter won the Filmfare Award of Best Story and Screenplay for all the three films.
On the work front, Zoya Akhtar would be next seen directing an Anthology film, 'Ghost Stories'. The film having four short film segments directed by Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap will be releasing in theatres on 2020. Farhan Akhtar would be next seen playing an Indian boxer in the film 'Toofan'. 'Toofan' which is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and co produced by Riteish Sidhwani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar is all set to releases in theatres on 2nd October, 2020.
