Universal Pictures' Fast X saw an upward trend at the Indian box office on the second day. It was quite expected because the film was a Thursday release, which is not a regular weekend for the opening.
Fast X started off with a record-breaking opening of 12 crore nett on Day One for the Fast & Furious franchise. The second day went 10% higher, and the film minted 13 crore nett. There's another jump expected today and tomorrow, as Saturday and Sunday will see family audiences coming in huge numbers.
Below are the collections of Fast X in India:
Day One - 12 crore
Day Two - 13 crore
Total - 25 crore nettIn the domestic market, Fast X is off to a good start with $27.5 million on Friday. The cumulative gross is around $66 million, which is fairly good if not great. However, it's slightly higher than F9's figures, which came in tough post-pandemic times.
