Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, Sanjay Dutt And Vikash Verma Honoured With Bihar Foundation Awards

Acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, known for his films like Jab We Met, Rockstar and Highway, to name a few, Vikash Verma, the Chairman of G7 Films and actor Sanjay Dutt, were honoured by the Bihar Foundation, a Government of Bihar initiative, which seeks to promote bonding, branding and business.

Bihar Foundation promotes art, culture, social and economic achievements and awards/felicitates person of eminence in different walks of life on the occasion of Bihar Divas, which falls on 22nd March. Verma was felicitated for setting up Bollywood in Poland and his own production company over there, which has strengthened the bond between India and Poland. It seems that Verma, along with Sanjay Dutt, Omung Kumar and Sandeep Singh will come together with the support of H.E. Indian Ambassador to Poland Mr. Ajay Bisaria, Ambassador of Poland to India H.E. Mr. Tomasz Lucazek and Mr. Leszek Brenda Honourable Consul General of Poland in Mumbai to make The Good Maharaja, a story based on true events during the World War II. Imtiaz Ali, who came with his parents to collect his award at the event, was quite elated at the honour.
