Veteran Marathi and Bollywood actor, and actor Gashmeer Mahajani's father, Ravindra Mahajani, passed away on Saturday. The actor was 77, and the reason for his death is unknown yet. We at Movie Talkies pray for his soul.Ravindra Mahajani has been living in Pune for the last few years. He was found dead in his house when neighbours called the police after smelling foul. From the primary inspection, police doubt that he might already have been dead for a day or two.
Ravindra Mahajani's son, Gashmeer, has been informed by the police. Ravindra Mahajani started his career with Saat Hindustani in 1969. He worked in many successful Marathi movies and was known as the "Vinod Khanna of Marathi cinema". Gondhalat Gondhal (1982), Devta (1983), Sarja (1987), Unaad Maina (1988), Zoonj (1989), and Jagavegali Paij (1992) are some of his popular films. He was last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's "Panipat", playing the role of Malharrao Holkar.
