Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire has scored another good weekend in domestic and international markets. It has topped the weekend charts for the second week in a row, and it was more or less expected since new releases weren't that big.
Godzilla X Kong enjoyed a good weekend in North America, with collections in the range of $31-31.5 million in the second weekend. It was almost a 60% drop from the first weekend, which had holidays like Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
The film is doing well internationally, grossing $226 million in 10 days. That takes its global tally over $360 million, hinting at the $400 million mark by the next weekend. The monster flick seems to have generated good money for the producer, who spent $135 million in production and promotions. The lifetime numbers should be looking to cross the $500 million mark if there is no big drop in the coming days.Below are the collections of Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire:
Domestic - $135 million
International - $226 million
Worldwide - $361 million
