Govinda and Sanjay Dutt's 'Haseena Maan Jaayegi' Is Set To Get A Sequel —

Govinda, Sanjay Dutt, Karisma Kapoor, and Pooja Batra's Haseena Maan Jaayegi (1999) was a commercial and critical success. The David Dhawan comedy is known as one of the most entertaining films by Govinda and Dhawan's duo. Now that the producer has hinted at the sequel, we can't wait any longer.

Talking about Haseena Maan Jayegi, producer Smita Thackeray told Etimes, "I wanted to make a comedy film and adored Govinda as an actor. I wanted to work with him, David Dhawan and Chi Chi's jodi was at the top during the 90s, so that's how the idea to make 'Haseena Maan Jayegi' came to our mind. With the film, I got a chance to work with Govinda and it was a lovely collaboration."

Spilling beans on a planned sequel, she said, "We would definitely like to work with the team again. In fact, we are also planning for 'Haseena Maan Jayegi 2' with Govinda and Sanju (Sanjay Dutt). Hope it materialises."
