Ashutosh Gowariker is one of the finest filmmakers in our industry, but do you know what inspired him to be an adventurer? Just like many of us, Mr. Gowariker also happens to be an admirer of The Adventures of Tintin. The legendary comic completed 95 years of its existence, and we are thankful to Tintin and his gang for filling our lives with adventures.
Created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, the series made its first appearance in French on January 10, 1929 (exactly 95 years ago) in Le Petit Vingtième (The Little Twentieth), a youth supplement to the Belgian newspaper Le Vingtième Siècle (The Twentieth Century). Ashutosh Gowariker did not forget the special occasion and took to his social media handle to celebrate the 95th anniversary of Tintin.
Gowariker shared some beautiful pictures with replicas of the characters from The Adventures of Tintin and thanked the comic for making him an adventurer. Have a look at his post below.
