Actor Simone Singh has recently been enjoying enormous critical and audience appreciation for her film and OTT performances.Her film Maja Ma, on Amazon Prime, where Simone plays the feisty Kanchan opposite Madhuri Dixit's Pallavi has earned the actor huge plaudits. Some outstanding scenes from this thought-provoking socio-comedy have even gone viral with their own dedicated fan sites!The versatile Simone has also earned unanimous praise for her sensitive portrayal of the recently widowed Sneha Patel in Season 3 of Amazon Prime's Four More Shots Please.Simone celebrated her landmark birthday with a rocking party thrown by her husband, author and film maker, Fahad Samar.“It was a gathering of the tribe, of old friends and new,” says Simone of the eclectic gathering of more than a hundred guests, ranging from south Mumbai society to Bollywood glam.The gorgeous Madhuri Dixit and her husband Dr Sriram Nene were seen enjoying the festivities and Madhuri and Simone took to the dance floor when the band played some foot-stomping rock and roll numbers.

Actor R Madhavan, who is one of Simone's oldest and dearest friends from their early Jamshedpur days, pulled off a fantastic surprise for the birthday girl, by flying in from Dubai and came directly from the airport to be with Simone on her special day.Another surprise blast from the past was the presence of actor Rahul Bhat, who had starred opposite Simone in the iconic TV drama Heena, in which Simone had played the title role for five years on Sony TV.Simone's co-actors from Four More Shots Please, Maanvi Gagroo and Sayani Gupta were seen letting their hair down and enjoying the cocktails specially concocted for this festive brunch.Diplomats, restaurateurs, fashion designers, investment bankers, jurists, corporate honchos, media mavericks and other members of the Mumbai swish set were all in attendance to make this landmark birthday all the more memorable for the stunning, stylish Simone.
