Shah Rukh Khan finally scored a Hit after three back-to-back non-hits: Swades, Paheli, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. With 50 crore nett earnings in India, Don was the 9th highest grossing film of 2006.Don 2 (2011):

Don 2 went a little overboard with thriller factors and urban appeal; hence, it did well in Multiplexes. The mass belts underperformed, but that didn't stop this Shah Rukh Khan starrer from becoming a box office hit. Don 2 collected 106 crore nett in Hindi and 3.55 crore nett in Tamil and Telugu versions for a grand total of 109 crore at the Indian box office. Don 2 was a blockbuster overseas, and the worldwide earnings were over 200 crore, with SRK making a hat-trick of 200 crore WW grossers.
