Hugh Jackman Lived Like A Monk For 'Les Miserables' Role

Australian actor Hugh Jackman, who will be next seen playing the role of a convict in the film adaptation of Victor Hugo's novel Les Miserables, Les Miserables, recently revealed that he lived the life of a monk for the role.

He added that for the role, he shaved his head, lost his weight by avoiding dairy products and generally 'lived like a monk' as his director had instructed him to get to the point where his friends would ask him if he is sick!
