The matter has been a hot trending topic for the last two days and has divided Bollywood into two groups on the internet. The expected apology has finally arrived.

Speaking to News18, Nadav stated, "I didn’t want to insult anyone, and my aim was never to insult people or their relatives, who have suffered. I totally, totally, totally apologise if that’s the way they interpreted."

A couple of days back, In his statement at IFFI, Nadav had said, "All of us were disturbed and shocked by the 15th film, The Kashmir Files. That felt like a propaganda, vulgar movie, inappropriate for an artistic competitive section of such a prestigious film festival. I feel totally comfortable to openly share these feelings here with you on this stage. In the spirit of this festival, you can surely also accept a critical discussion, which is essential for art and life."
