After producing films such as Madras Cafe, Parmanu, Batla House, and Attack, John Abraham is set to present another home production, Tara Vs Bilal. The film stars Harshavardhan Rane and Sonia Rathee in the lead roles and has been directed by Samar Iqbal. The film will hit the cinemas on 28th October and the trailer has been unveiled today. The actor-producer was present for the trailer preview event today and had an informal chat with the media. When asked why he chose to produce Tara vs Bilal, John said, "I have been trying to produce good films with different subjects. My previous films were in different genres, but Tara vs Bilal is a love story. With this film, I want to explore the genre with the young cast, and hopefully, it will be another different experience for me as a producer."

"Well, I just wanted to make an honest and entertaining love story with Tara Vs Bilal. I think my director and writer have simply done a phenomenal job when it comes to presenting the story in the way it should be presented. It’s a love story that has its humour in the right places. We are also addressing some important societal taboos in a fun manner, as I feel being preachy doesn’t help in this regard. The entire credit goes to my writer and director for this. Harshvardhan is a very good boy, and Sonia has been lovely as well. Both of them look really cool together, and I have the belief that it is going to be an interesting watch for my audience," he added."Tara Vs Bilal is a story that will make you laugh, cry, and fall in love with Tara and Bilal at the same time.
