I Want To Talk The Sabarmati Report Box Office Collections:
The new release, I Want To Talk, starring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role, was released in limited cinemas yesterday. The film collected approx. Rs. 25 lakh nett on day one, which is a poor total by all means. The film appeals to a certain section of the audiences, and that might help the film to see a decent jump on Saturday and Sunday since multiplexes do better business on these two days. However, the numbers won't be big, and it seems like a "game over" situation for the film. It's not that kind of a commercial film by Shoojit Sircar, such as Piku or Vicky Donor, anyway.

On the other hand, Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna, and Riddhi Dogra's The Sabarmati Report saw a decent hold on the second Friday. This political investigation drama topped the Friday earnings and will see a good jump on Saturday and Sunday.
The total for the film is above Rs. 12 crore nett in 8 days, and it should be looking at the Rs. 20 crore nett mark in the worst case. Looking at the trending, it seems that the film can show long legs and touch the Rs. 25 crore nett mark. However, to get a "SUCCESS" verdict, it should cross at least Rs. 30 crore nett, which seems difficult at the moment but not impossible.
