Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta's hard-hitting drama, Vadh, which was released last year, is gearing up for a sequel. The film was screened at the 54th International Film Festival (IFFI) in Goa in the Indian Panorama section, and the makers opened up about having a sequel in mind.IFFI 2023 saw a reunion of Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra, producer Ankur Garg, director Jaspal Singh Sandhu, and actor Saurabh Sachdev. After the screening, the makers from Luv Films confirmed that Vadh 2 is in progress and will go on floors next year.Producer Ankur Garg said, "Vadh was made on a moderate budget and had a limited release, but the word of mouth was so strong that it got discovered and appreciated by a very large audience over time. We won some big awards and accolades, and we feel the audience has connected with the characters and the story and would like to see a sequel. So, yes, we are working on a sequel."
