Indian Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan To Make His Bollywood Debut In Sonakshi Sinha & Huma Qureshi's 'Double XL'

The Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is all set to make his first ever appearance in a Bollywood film, Double XL. The film has Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi playing the lead roles, while Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra play the male leads.Shikhar Dhawan will be seen making a special appearance in Double XL. A romantic picture of Shikhar with Huma Qureshi has been unveiled by the makers, and the cricketer is surely looking handsome in it.Talking about his Bollywood debut, Shikhar Dhawan says, "As an athlete playing for the nation, life is always very hectic. One of my favourite pastimes is watching entertaining films. When this opportunity came to me and I heard the story, it made a deep impact on me. This is a lovely message for the whole society and I hope a lot of young girls and boys will keep pursuing their dreams no matter what."Directed by Satramm Ramani, Double XL is a slice-of-life comedy drama that challenges body weight stereotypes and sends out the strong message that if you can dream it, you can achieve everything. Produced by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, Wakaoo Films and Mudassar Aziz, the film will hit the screens on 4th November 2022.
