Rohit Shetty and Sidharth Malhotra's Indian Police Force Greenlit For Season 2 

Indian Police Force, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty, directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash, was released on Prime Video on January 19, 2024. The team is now set to begin work on the second season of the Indian Police Force. As per a report in Mid-day, the studio and team have greenlit the second season of Indian Police Force.

"The show was made to garner a whole new section of the audience—masses who loved the Singham franchise. Indian Police Force was a tentpole show for Amazon Prime Video, and it achieved what it set out to do," a source informed Mid-Day.

Confirming that the second season will not be merged with Rohit Shetty's "S" cop-universe, the source added, "Indian Police Force will be kept distinct from the Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi worlds and won’t merge them in the subsequent season either. In the weeks to come, as the new season is developed, a crucial call will be taken if they want to extend the same storyline or go beyond and start a new story with the same characters."
