Inside Out 2 has turned out to be a blockbuster affair for Pixar and Disney. The much-hyped animated sequel to an Oscar-winning film has gone past the $1 billion mark at the global box office in just 17 days.

This is the second Hollywood movie to cross the $1 billion mark since Barbie (July 2023), which achieved the feat in 19 days. Pixar's sequel was quicker than the pinky blockbuster.Inside Out 2 topped another weekend for the third time in a row with $57.4 million gross, overtaking Paramount's A Quiet Place: Day One ($53 million).Inside Out 2 now stands as the third biggest Pixar movie of all time in the domestic market after Incredibles 2 ($608.5 million) and Finding Dory ($486.2 million), and their 5th biggest grosser at the worldwide box office.Below are the worldwide collections of Inside Out 2:
