Vijay Varma about social media comments:

Vijay Varma is one of the most talented and business actors in Bollywood today. He has worked in hit Bollywood movies like Super 30 and Gully Boy and after that played pivotal roles in many OTT movies and web series like Darling, Lust Stories 2, Jaane Jaan, Murder Mubarak, Kaalkoot, IC 814, The Kandahar Hijack, and others.

Vijay has been a movie buff since childhood and used to discuss movie reviews and opinions with his friends. Today, the discussions have shifted to social media platforms. Instead of conversation with friends, we get engaged in the comments box on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Vijay believes that some of those comments about movies are paid and have monetary interest involved. He expressed his thoughts during a recent conversation with Indian Express. Read what he had to say below.

"What hurts me the most is that innocent people might think these comments are real, but some of it is so motivated and paid for, which has been the biggest shock. This is something that really needs to be addressed. Earlier, when a film was released, people would talk about it, and friends would even argue over it. We didn’t have a platform to voice our opinions back then. But now, we live in a time when there is a platform and people say whatever they want to say, and we can’t do anything about that. But something that has a monetary attachment to it should be curbed."
