Bollywood actress Kajol is gearing up for her next film, Salaam Venky, which is set to knock at the box office window on December 9, 2022. The actress plays a mother named Sujata in Revathy's directorial emotional drama, while Vishal Jethwa plays her son. During a recent media interaction, Kajol expressed her views on the film and her character.Throwing light on her character, Sujata, Kajol shared, "My character in the film is very real. Sujata is simply a strong woman. Revathi Ma'm made me understand it very simply by saying that sometimes the simplest people are the strongest. That was the best quality of Sujata. She did what she felt like doing; she didn't think about the difficulties around her. She saw her goal very clearly. There is an amazing simplicity about her. I have tried my best to keep it as simple as possible. And as you know, I am very picky. I am a reader too. So if I feel like the script does not excite me, then I am like, let's not do it.
