'Ishq Vishk' & 'Delhi Belly' Actress Shenaz Treasury Can't Recognize Faces Due to Prosopagnosia

Bollywood actress Shenaz Treasury, who appeared in films like Ishq Vishk (2003), Radio (2009), Delhi Belly (2011) and Kaalakaandi (2018), has revealed a shocking truth about her. She announced that she has been suffering from a disease called "prosopagnosia" for a long time and has been unable to recognise people because of that.

Sharing her experience of the disease, Shenaz Treasure wrote multiple stories on her Instagram account. Read them below:"I have been diagnosed with prosopagnosia 2. Now, I understand why I've never been able to put faces together. It's a cognitive disorder. I always felt ashamed that I can't recognise faces. I recognise voices.""Takes me a minute to register who the person is - sometimes even a close friend I haven't seen in a while. I thought I was just dumb. Went through my whole life wondering why I can't recognise anyone - Now I realise I have this cognitive disorder.""So now please understand that this is a real disorder and not me being aloof or snobbish. This is a real brain issue. Please be kind and understand."
