James Cameron truly is the king of the box office, and his latest releases, Avatar 2 and Titanic (the re-release), are proving it again. Avatar: The Way of Water had surpassed Titanic's global total, but the re-released version of Titanic again took over Avatar's sequel at the box office.
Titanic's total has sailed past $2.217 billion at the global sea, whereas Avatar: The Water of Water dived in for $2.213 billion cum. Titanic will soon be surpassed again by Avatar 2 and will be dropped to the 4th spot in the global tally of the highest-grossing films of all time.
