Johnny Depp To Play Boston Gangster In 'Black Mass'

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, who had played the role of bank robber John Dillinger in Public Enemies, will once again don the role of an underworld figure in Barry Levinson's next film Black Mass.

The film is said to be based on the life of Boston gangster Whitey Bulger, who became an FBI informant to get rid of a gangster rival but was eventually arrested in 2011. Depp will also be seen playing the role of Tonto in The Lone Ranger.
