Joker 2's Budget Hits $200 Million; More Than Double Of First Joker Movie

Joker 2 has hit the $200 million production cost, as reported by Variety. This is more than double of the first Joker movie from 2019, which was made on a budget of just $60–65 million.

As per sources, the leading hero, Joaquin Phoenix, is getting $20 million to reprise his role, which won him immense praise as well as the Best Actor doll at the Oscars. The new joiner, Lady Gaga, is taking home about $12 million to play the role of Harley Quinn.

Joker (2019) emerged as a blockbuster at the box office, with a global gross of $1.079 billion. With a production cost of more than two times that, Joker 2 will have to bring in higher numbers to become more successful.
