Joker: Folie à Deux Teaser Trailer – Arthur, aka Joker, Gets A Killer Female Partner Portrayed By Lady Gaga

Joker: Folie à Deux, starring Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role of Joker, is one of the most awaited sequels in 2024. The first teaser trailer for this highly anticipated comic book flick has been launched. Phoenix reprises his role of Arthur/Joker, who is accompanied by his love interest, Harley Quinn, played by Lady Gaga.

The first glimpses of Joker: Folie à Deux are extremely effective, considering the establishment of the characters. Joker got recognition in Joker (2019), and this sequel is all set to introduce another similar character, but in a female role.

Harley Quinn is going through the same trauma as the Joker and joins him in this psychologically challenging crime thriller. The duo is seen dancing and singing, along with several criminal activities, in the dark world of Gotham City. As the Joker explains, he is not alone anymore; we can say that companionship is equally mad and tormenting.The last scene in the teaser is sure to leave you in jitters when Harley asks Joker to show his "real self," and he gives her that "red evil smile." A few moments before that, Lady Gaga nails the similar red lips scene and eyeliner scene with her killer attitude, presenting a perfect girl for the killer and the Maverick Joker.The film is directed by Todd Phillips, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver. It is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios in association with Joint Effort. Joker: Folie à Deux will be released on October 4, 2024.
