Judge Rejects Amber Heard's Demand For Mistrial Against Johnny Depp's Win

Hollywood actress Amber Heard lost the defamation case against ex-husband Johnny Depp last month. She filed an appeal against the court's order and requested a mistrial, alleging jury fraud.However, her demand has been rejected by the judge.

Judge Penney Azcarate wrote an order and denied all claims made by Amber Heard. As per the report in Variety, the court has given validation to the decision given by jury members that made Johnny Depp the winner of the case with a compensation of 10 million dollars.

The written order states, "The juror was vetted, sat for the entire jury, deliberated, and reached a verdict. The only evidence before this court is that this juror and all jurors followed their oaths, the court's instructions, and orders. This Court is bound by the competent decision of the jury."
