The last Friday release, Jugjugg Jeeyo, starring a bunch of actors, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Maniesh Paul, has failed to leave a mark at the box office. It's not a disaster, but it isn't a good success either. The trade had high hopes for the film, and was looking at it as a sure-shot 100 crore nett grosser, but the film has failed to perform up to the expectations.Jugjugg Jeeyo had a decent opening weekend of 36 crore, which was the 4th biggest opening weekend for any Bollywood film in 2022. Then, the film saw a drop in collections on Monday and continued to drop further on the weekdays. It has crossed the 50 crore nett mark in 6 days, while the first week total is just short of 54 crore nett.
