Kabir Khan recently opened up about his shooting experience in Kashmir for Chandu Champion and how the team ensured that the entire backdrop looked authentic and showcased the same theme.Chandu championChandu Champion, which is based on the life of Muralikant Petkar, has to present his war days in the film, and shooting for the same was indeed a significant task for the director. The team has shot for action sequences in Kashmir.Chandu championWhile talking about shooting for Chandu Champion, Kabir Khan said, "Shooting Chandu Champion was indeed a task, and I must say it wasn't an easy one. On top of that, we were shooting the war sequence in Kashmir set in 1965, so we needed to ensure that the entire backdrop looked authentic and showcased the same theme. We tried presenting Kashmir in a way that would make people feel like they were traveling back to that time."

Starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role and jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, "Chandu Champion" is set for release on June 14, 2024.
