Kalki 2898 AD Hindi On Course To Become The Highest Grossing Non-Sequel Dubbed Film By Surpassing RRR

Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) has done well over the period of 5 weeks. The film held up well against all the competitors it faced every week and managed to be a good business till now. As the film is coming close to the end of its run, here's looking at that one record it will have on its name.

Kalki 2898 AD is all set to overtake the lifetime business of SS Rajamouli's RRR (2022), which was released right after the second wave of the pandemic.

Kalki will also become the highest-grossing non-sequel film in Hindi-dubbed markets and the third-biggest grosser ever after Baahubali 2 (510 crore) and KGF 2 (434 crore).

The film is just 1.5 crore away from overtaking RRR's lifetime total (275.01 crore nett) in Hindi markets. It will surpass the same over this weekend as the new releases are looking dull, and the film might even add a few crore more until Stree 2 hits cinemas on August 15th.
